Ania is an MSc student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at SFU. She earned her undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Douglas College.
Her experiences include working in the areas of mental health, addictions, and HIV/Aids. For her master’s thesis, she is applying an intersectional lens to explore experiences of engagement of people with lived experience of mental illness in the Imagining Inclusion project. Between September 2013 and September 2015, Ania worked on the Imagining Inclusion research team as a project coordinator. She is looking forward to collaborating with participants and research team members on addressing the upstream determinants of mental health inequities.
